Creating great photos requires knowledge of your camera, light and how to arrange things in the frame. You need to know the rules for great photos and when to break these rules to create something unique.

But finding all this knowledge, bringing it together at the right time and getting your camera to record it all as intended can be a daunting and frustrating process.

With me as your guide, this one-day course will change all of that and you will leave seeing, operating and shooting like a photographer. You will leave with your photos and understanding of photography at a whole new level. My approach is carefully designed to ensure everything finally makes sense - so if you've tried learning photography before, don't worry, this time it will work!

Topics Covered:

• Understanding your camera and lenses
• The fundamental building blocks of photography: shutter speed, Aperture and Depth of Field
• Camera modes and how to use them for creating better images
• Moving towards manual mode, with my method that will immediately make sense
• Composition - knowing the rules and when to break them for much stronger shots
• Let’s get out and about with our cameras. I will show you to ‘see’ things in a new way, using all the things you have learned with me always available for feedback and guidance
• Finally we will edit a few of your images from the day and you’ll be buzzing with pride
